At least one morning a week I don’t have enough time/energy to put together a complicated breakfast or really anything that requires cooking. When life happens smoothies are a quick and easy yet nutritious breakfast option. This is my go to protein smoothie with staying power.
- 2 Cups Almond Milk or Favorite Non Dairy Milk
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1 Cup Frozen Spinach
- 1 Serving of Chocolate Protein Powder (my current favorite is Orgain. An alternative to protein powder would be 2 tablespoons hemp seeds + 1 tablespoon cocao powder)
- 1 Large Spoonful of Almond Butter
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth and enjoy immediately
