I’m hilarious, I know.
I ate a lot of soup today, but from the feeling of hunger I still have at this time, I’m guessing not enough. Or I’m craving. I’m usually grabbing a little chocolate or some toast or something else at this time of night for a snack….yep, it’s taking all my will power to not eat any of those things now that I mention them so it’s cravings. I’m just going to muscle through and hold out. Hopefully the worst cravings will pass in the next few days.
This post is going to be short but today was a good start. H was great, he didn’t fuss much, even when he wasn’t allowed foods his friends were eating (I didn’t really think about this possibility much but it worked out better than I could have hoped). He did get hungry more often that I expected, I think because the food is more digestible. I made a beefy onion soup to add a little more variety and hopefully on Wednesday we can start adding egg yolks to our soups! So exciting.
I also weighed in and had measurements of major body parts. At 140lbs, I’m at my heaviest besides when I was pregnant. I’m hoping to see that drop 5-10 pounds. I’ll let you know. The measurements, we’ll see how those change. Several of them, like arms, won’t budge until I’m able to find a way to get exercise in. But one thing at a time.
Speaking of one thing at a time. My tendency when starting something new, is to start all the things new, I’m trying to not do this. So trying to start a new exercise routine this week, not on the agenda. Just keeping the house clean and keeping our eating clean.
